" Mitigation on the effect of climate changes on agriculture land production potential"

organized within the PROFICIENCY project

The Conference concentrated on three main topics: -  climate change and its potential impact on agriculture, - methods for reducing the adverse impact of climate change on agricultural production potential, - renewable energy sources as an important factor mitigating adverse effects of climate change. The programme included oral and poster presentation as well as field trip to IUNG experimental station in Osiny to visit  plantations of energetic plants.
The Conference gathered 115 participants representing research units, state administrations, agricultural advisory centers, chemical stations, companies and other state institutions interested in agricultural production problems.
