National Conference

" Microorganisms – plant – environment under changing climate"

organized within the PROFICIENCY project 

The conference was organized by the Department of Agricultural Microbiology of the IUNG-PIB within the Proficiency project. 

The scientific programme of the Conference included five sessions: - Climate change and its effect on agriculture and microorganisms,  - Modern methods in microbiology and phytopathology, -  Microorganisms in plant protection against pathogens and toxic compounds, - Effects of fertilizers and agro-technical practices on microorganisms and plants, - Microorganisms – environment – contaminations.

About 350 scientists and students representing all main Polish scientific universities and research institutions took part in the Conference. They had the  opportunity to acquaint with the wide range of the recent scientific achievements of the different research groups presented by 43 oral speakers and 162 posters presenters.

Abstracts of all presentations were edited as Conference Materials (ISBN-978-83-7562-128-0).
